Samantha Wood, BSDH
Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist
My name is Samantha Wood and I am a Registered Dental Hygienist in Fort Worth, Texas. I graduated from the Blinn College Dental Hygiene program in 2017 with my Associate in Dental Hygiene and graduated with my Bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene from Texas Woman’s University in 2019. Since graduating, I have had the pleasure of working in pediatric dentistry, general and cosmetic dentistry.
I was raised in Keller, TX and moved back to Fort Worth after graduating college. My husband is a Safety Manager for a heavy highway construction company and we have one son, Trace. We enjoy spending our time with family and friends, being outside and trying different restaurants around Fort Worth.
Throughout my time as a dental hygienist, I have learned a lot about dental sleep medicine in both children and adults. Upon a personal Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) diagnosis, I started my own journey in educating myself to better care for my patients. This led me to getting trained in myofunctional therapy through the MyoMentor program in 2024.
My goal as an RDH & OMT is to educate and promote whole body health and wellness by improving sleep quality.
